Come out on Sunday May 7 and 14 , 1 - 3 pm at the Nepean Sportsplex for introductory flag football sessions. Flags and mouthguards will be provided. At these sessions the rules will be explained and team formation and practice will take place. Game play will take place on Sunday May 27 in the early afternoon at a field to be determined and will continue until Sunday June 18. Teams will have the choice of playing one or two games on each Sunday. Sign up for this league by emailing rodmoors12@gmail.com.
NCAFA FLAG FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
NCAFA is holding its first ever flag football tournament on May 20, 21 in Gatineau. See below for location of game fields. Our tournament will offer Open divisions of U10, U12, U14, U16 and girls divisions of GU12, GU14, GU16 and GU20. There is a 4 game guarantee but most teams should expect 5 games. As this is our first time running the tournament and we don't know with any certainty the turnout we are going to be creative with the fees. At this time the fees are as follows: U10 $175, U12 and above $200. This fee assumes one ref per game. The U10 fee will not change. Our goal is two have 2 refs per game in older divisions and higher tiers. This will lead to a surcharge as the situation becomes clearer in each tier and division. The registration process begins with an email to rodmoors12@gmail.com with an indication of intent to enter a certain division and team strength (rank your team's strength on a scale of three. 1 is strong, 2 is medium and 3 is weak). Updates will be provided on the number of entries in each division. At the end of April we will quickly transition to confirming entries and accepting fee payments. We look forward to seeing you at our tournament. All participants must be Football Ontario members.
