Grant Morden — Coaches Category
Starting his football journey at age 11 with Bel-Air Lions under fellow Hall of Famer John Smith, Grant Morden has been a cornerstone of Ottawa football for over 50 years. His coaching career, spanning from Laurentian Seniors to the Ottawa Norsemen, has fostered generations of athletes. With seven varsity championships under his belt, Grant’s influence has been immense. Today, he continues his lifelong love for coaching, guiding players both on the field and as individuals.
Don Wilcox — Builders Category
A trailblazer in officiating, Don Wilcox is the first official to enter the NCAFA Hall of Fame. With 35 years in officiating, Don has played a critical role in shaping the league’s standards. Known for his mentorship and dedication, he has officiated over 1,000 games, including national championships. His leadership and commitment make him a role model for officials across the city.
Jonathan Sutherland — Players Category
Jonathan Sutherland, a former NCAFA “A” Cup champion and All-Star, made his mark as a dominant two-way player for the North Gloucester Giants. A four-year captain at Penn State and now part of the New York Giants, Jonathan exemplifies leadership, athleticism, and dedication, setting an inspiring example for young players today.
Paul Stewart — Builders Category
The lifeline of the Bell Warriors, Paul Stewart began as a volunteer and rose to President, a role he’s held for 12 years. Known for his commitment to youth development and his leadership in NCAFA, Paul has influenced policies, developed new game formats, and supported numerous community initiatives. His contributions have enriched Ottawa’s football landscape.
Pat Woodcock — Players Category
A Kanata native, Pat Woodcock made his way from the Kanata Knights to Syracuse University and then to an eight-year pro career in the NFL and CFL. Pat’s accomplishments on the field, including a Grey Cup win with a record-setting 99-yard touchdown, are matched by his off-field dedication. As the founder of Elite Performance Academy, he continues to shape the athletic community in Ottawa.
