This past weekend, the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) successfully concluded its 2025 annual planning session, hosted at Brookfield High School. The event brought together Club Presidents, volunteers, and league organizers from across the region for a productive day of collaboration and planning.

A huge thank you goes out to all the dedicated Club Presidents and volunteers who took the time to attend and contribute. Your commitment and passion continue to drive amateur football forward in the National Capital Region.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) and the Brookfield High School community for welcoming us into their school for the day. Your hospitality helped create a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

The planning session allowed the Association to advance several important files, including Territory, Scheduling, Discipline, and Rule updates—laying the groundwork for another successful season.

NCAFA now looks ahead to the semi-annual AGM later this spring, as well as the launch of the 2025 flag football season. Stay tuned for more updates and thank you again to everyone who continues to make football thrive in our community!
