Start Your Officiating Journey

Football officials are an essential part of our game, and NCAFA is proud to partner with the Eastern Ontario Tackle Football Officials Association (EOTFOA) to help recruit the next generation of football officials.

Officiating is a great way to stay involved in football, remain active, earn extra income, and experience the game from a new perspective. With training, mentorship, and support provided by EOTFOA, individuals as young as 14 can begin their officiating journey.

Whether you're a current player, a graduating Varsity athlete, a coach, trainer, parent, or team volunteer, there is a place for you in football officiating.

The resources below provide information tailored to new officials, graduating players looking to stay connected to the game, and football personnel interested in exploring officiating opportunities.

Through our partnership with EOTFOA, NCAFA clubs, games, and jamborees also provide valuable opportunities for new officials to gain experience and continue developing their skills in a live game environment.
